Working with AI has been reintroducing me the principles of doing good work. One of those is spending a minute more during planning to save an hour executing.
The most frustrating thing while working with AI is for it to get something obvious wrong. We don’t understand the human brain as much as we’d like to, so it’s difficult to make things “obvious” to AI.
I’d recommend people to make their plans on Extra High reasoning effort and the actual execution can then happen at a much more affordable “high” reasoning effort threshold.
